I’m Jessie Kuhn, LPC-S. I offer a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and explore the patterns that shape your relationships with yourself, others, and God. You don’t have to arrive with everything figured out.

When understanding isn’t enough

You may know why you feel anxious or why a relationship is difficult, yet still find yourself returning to the same patterns. In our work, we become curious about what happens beneath the surface: old wounds, grief, protective responses, and the ways you learned to stay connected or keep yourself safe.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, painful experiences, relationship concerns, life transitions, and questions of faith. My experience also includes ministry, missionary life, and cross-cultural transitions.

How faith enters the therapy room

My Christian faith shapes how I understand people, suffering, relationships, and healing. For clients who desire it, our work can include prayer, Scripture, Christian theology, and attention to what God may be doing in the process.

Faith is welcome here even when it is complicated. There is room for questions, doubt, grief, and experiences that are difficult to put into words. We can talk together about how you would like faith to be part of your counseling.

Attachment-based and trauma-informed care

An attachment-based approach explores how earlier experiences of connection influence what feels safe or difficult in present relationships. Trauma-informed care makes room for the ways painful experiences may affect you now, with attention to pacing, collaboration, and your sense of safety.

Sessions are relational and tailored to the depth and pace of our work together. We can explore your story while also attending to what you need in daily life.

Appointments and fees

In-person appointments are available Thursdays, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., at 3000 Joe Dimaggio Blvd, Suite 89, Round Rock, TX 78665. Secure online appointments are available on other days for clients located in Texas.

Private-pay sessions are $185 for 50 minutes. Insurance availability is limited; please contact me about current openings for insurance-based services. A limited number of reduced-fee ministry and missionary appointments are available.
