You may be capable, thoughtful, faithful, and deeply committed to the people around you; and still find yourself carrying things that don't seem to resolve simply because you understand them.
Old wounds can show up in present relationships. Grief can linger. Patterns we thought we'd outgrown can return. Faith itself can become complicated by what we've experienced.
Therapy can be a place to slow down and become curious about what's happening beneath the surface, not simply to manage symptoms, but to understand the story they are telling.
You don't have to come knowing exactly what needs to change.

Sometimes we know exactly what brings us to therapy. Other times, we only know that something isn’t working anymore. I work with adults and couples navigating grief, trauma, relationships, faith, sexuality, anxiety, and seasons of significant change. Often, these experiences overlap. Our work makes room for the whole person, not only a diagnosis or a set of symptoms.

I offer individual and couples counseling for adults in person in Round Rock and through secure telehealth throughout Texas. In-person appointments are available Thursdays, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., at 3000 Joe Dimaggio Blvd, Suite 89. Online appointments are available on other days. Sessions are relational, collaborative, and tailored to the depth and pace of our work together.
Private pay: $185 for a 50-minute session
Insurance: Desert Streams Counseling is primarily a private-pay practice. Insurance availability is limited. Please contact me regarding current availability for insurance-based services.
Ministry & missionary rate: A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available.
