“I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.”
Isaiah 41:18
About Me
My work as a therapist centers on the profound impact of relational therapy. The hurts we carry are largely born within relationship with others, consequently our deepest healing is also found within relationship.
I believe the best and most powerful Counselor is the Holy Spirit, however, we often have wounds or protective barriers that prevent us from fully receiving His healing, unconditional love.
I have the honor and privilege of helping clients identify these barriers, process underlying emotions, and practice healthy intimacy in a safe and compassionate therapeutic relationship, which, ultimately they will learn how to embrace with the Lord and other safe people in their lives.
Guided by established, research-validated theories of attachment, I focus on understanding the underlying sources of emotional and relational challenges. By exploring and addressing these core relational patterns, rather than just the presenting symptoms, clients can experience truly transformative and lasting change in their lives and relationships.
I see the therapeutic relationship, as a real relationship, one in which we are genuinely and mutually impacted by each other. It’s a place where you can talk through hard things and practice hard things, safely and confidentially.
Education & Training
I have been counseling since 2009. I received a Masters in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, with an emphasis on the integration of theology and psychological theory. I have specific training in Object Relations Theory and EMDR, and extensive experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
In addition to private practice, I serve as the Clinical Director at Oaks Counseling, a counseling ministry for missionaries and cross-cultural workers.

Ministry Leaders
I have served in cross-cultural ministry for over a decade and understand the unique sense of isolation and pressure that often occupancies those in ministry. Having a safe and confidential place to explore your own struggles and limitations can be invaluable.
Counselors and other Helpers
Helpers need help too! The best therapists have a “PhD” in their own pain. I know how hard it is to find a strong clinician that can compassionately explore sophisticated defenses to vulnerability. Doing your own deep work is crucial for you to maintain your own health and practice and can help you to develop a more grounded, authentic, and ultimately more powerful approach to your personal and professional life.
Creatives (Musicians, Writers, Artists, Innovators)
“The best art comes from lacerations of the heart” - Benjamin William Hastings
I understand your work isn't just a job; it's often deeply intertwined with your identity, passion, and purpose. My counseling approach recognizes how your mental and emotional well-being profoundly impacts your creativity, and conversely, how your creative pursuits influence your overall health.
